Watch the transformation into "a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away" in a city-wide fundraising campaign for the Bellevue Education Foundation! Around 7pm the 501^st Legion, bad guys doing good, will storm the Avenue striking fear and bringing solidarity to our cause. If you have a penchant for all things Star Wars or like to create a temporary alternate reality, then dress up as your favorite character and head down to Fairfield Avenue and make it your mission to help our community. REKIINDLED SPIRITS A Candle Craft Co will be featured at an opening reception at Frame and Hang Studio Gallery on May the Fourth. If there’s one thing Brittany and Zach love in life, it’s beer. You could say they’re slightly obsessed. What was once a general curiousness toward craft brews has now turned into a passion. They love finding, trying and learning about new beer together – and meeting different people along the way, which got them thinking: “Why would we want to just pitch all of these empty bottles and the experience behind drinking what was once inside?” Craft beer is a community that fosters friendships and camaraderie and creates something amazing. In turn, they wanted to create something, too, and have a project we could call their own. That’s how they landed on candles; they wanted to upcycle the bottle, label intact, and honor some of the original fragrances that made the beer what it was. They repurpose every bottle with passion. Each candle is hand-cut, hand-poured and is inspired by flavors from the original brew.

Opening reception of paintings by Jerry Saylor's from 6 to 9 pm on May the Fourth. Picking up the pace following his premier show, Places in Time, RESN8 Gallery & Studio is proud to present his most recent body of work, A Day At The Races.

A direct result of his love of thoroughbred racing and his passion for painting. The work is comprised and inspired by his own photography of the most prestigious racing the sport has to off from the Breeders Cup Classic to the Kentucky Derby's Run for the Roses.

This unique Show is a must-see for any racing enthusiast, novice or collector.

Darkness Brewing is hosting their second annual free, fan-fare celebration of all things Star Wars! Come dressed up and ready for fun as they have a lot planned for this year's celebration including a brand new tribute beer release, Staf Wars themed art and caricatures, as well as city-wide participation and fundraising for the Bellevue Education Foundation.

Plus, they have Texas Joe's Tex Mex Tacos Food Truck!

BEYOND THE FOURTH

SPRING FEST

Celebrate spring with us on Saturday, May 12 from 11am to 5pm! In Vue is hosting a family-friendly extravaganza along The Avenue and beyond. When you have a party there has to be music and thanks to Torn Light Records that’s exactly what we’ll have. Of course there will be food including favorites from all of our restaurants under one tent. Darkness Brewing will be there too. In addition to all of our eateries, shops, and salons we’ll have visiting vendors with crafts and plants just in time for last-minute Mother’s Day shopping.

It is a picnic/festival Bellevue style. Come down and play, relax, dance, shop, eat, drink, make new friends and visit with old friends.
