Movie Madness
Movie Madness! with host Count Fat-Cula

There's still going to be laughter at Darkness Brewing even with "Last Call for Alcohol" being on hold. Schedule your Friday and Saturday nights at 9 pm in the front room for Movie Madness (except for August 12 since everyone needs to be celebrating Darkness Brewing's anniversary)! 

So, what in the heck is Movie Madness? Done in the style of late night movie hosts of yore such as local Cincinnati favorite The Cool Ghoul (Dick Von Hoene), Svengoolie, and Elvira, MOVIE MADNESS! with host Count Fat-Cula is sure to widen your film knowledge as well as tickle your funny bone.

"The Night of the Living Dead" is scheduled for opening night of Movie Madness! on Friday, August 11. Each weekend a different movie will be featured. Tickets are $5 and includes free popcorn. Get them in advance, because seating is limited for this great partnership of Darkness Brewing and WE ARE Productions.

Coda Co. Grand Opening

Kelti and Tanner Ziese invite you to their grand opening of Coda Co.located at 400 Fairfield Avenue on Saturday, August 12 from 11 am to at least 7 pm. This new shop will be filled with handmade home decor that they make right here in Bellevue. They specialize in bourbon barrel furniture, custom work, and fiber arts.
Darkness Brewing Anniversary Party!

On Saturday, August 12 from 1 pm to 11 pm in honor of their first anniversary, Darkness is throwing a party! You won't want to miss this celebration as they introduce new beer while serving your old favorites. There will be non-stop live music with Davey Darkness - Blues Harmonica at 2 pm, The Kelvinators - bluegrass at 2:30pm, Bows and Arrows - jam/ bluesy rock at 5pm, Maria Carrelli - Americana at 7:15, Sweet and the Sweet Sweets - rock'n'roll with a lil' soul at 8 pm. That's not all; there will be face painting, live art, henna tattoos, and more!

Art in the Park 2017
Art in the Park

Be sure to mark you calendars for the 16th annual Art in the Park on Saturday, September 9 from 10 am to 5 pm at the Thomas J. Weithorn Memorial Beach Park. In addition to all the talented artists and craftspeople we'll have two stages this year - one with live music and the other with children's programs. There will be local food and beer, and a silent art auction benefiting the art school programs at Bellevue schools. It all takes place in a beautiful riverside setting just one block from the historic Fairfield Avenue shopping district.
